Advice from the Institute of Guidance Counsellors
The state examinations commence on June 6th.The following are some tips for parents and students to ensure that the next few weeks are used productively and that students maximise their performance in the examination.
The Leaving Certificate, in particular in similar to a marathon for which students have been preparing for, directly and indirectly, over their 6 years at post primary school. The past two years have, in particular, have been the focus of all the planning, study and preparation for the examinations.
