This year's Equestrian team has, so far, been a great success. Currently competing for the team are Maggie Brennock (3rd) Sarah Eustace (3rd) and Sonja Egan (6th). Ruth Byrne, Emma Eustace and Kate Green will be competing for the school also later on in the year. We are hoping more people will come forward so we can make our team bigger!
 
'We turn up on the day with our  horses or ponies to compete and the team competition is jumped Aga Khan style, that is 3 or 4 riders per team with the best 3 scores to count. After our first round we  then go on to jump in the jump-off which is against the clock, 2 riders are picked to compete in this round were they  try get the fastest time and go clear to be within the placings. There is usually an individual competition on the day aswell.  

We are currently competing in the hoofprints interschools league. The league is contested with on average 30 or more teams from schools  all around the country at each competition. So far we have come 4th in the teams and achieved a 4th place, 3rd place, 7th place and 10th place in the individuals.  We are hoping for even more success throughout the year.
