Amy and I would like to begin by saying how delighted and privileged we are to have been appointed as this year's (2016/17) Sport Captains. Sport has always been a central, complementary element to life here in Muckross. It is essential for physical and mental health and has been proven time and again to enhance academic performance. It creates and sustains friendships and builds a school spirit. We have such a wide range of sports on offer here at all levels! There is something for everyone and it is really one of the best ways to get into the thick of the Muckross School Spirit! We would love to see as many girls as possible getting involved and would encourage everyone to take part!

We really hope to continue last year’s success into this year!
